The last quarter has been another busy one for Crystal Clean Service.
We are proud to announce that all of our senior team members are now qualified First Aiders. This level of training is very important as some of our work takes place in industrial environments, where risk factors can be higher than that of an office building. By being aware of the risks and how to deal with a first aid situation should it arise, our supervisors have the confidence to be able to approach an incident professionally and safely, it also provides reassurance for our clients. We have unfortunately, found out that despite this being industry’s best practice, not many cleaning companies provide First Aid training for their staff. The risks can be varied, so to provide this training made perfect sense to us.
We have then also invested further with management and admin training; all the Supervisors now hold level 2 Diplomas in Team Leading, they have undergone a lot of training recently, including Microsoft qualifications. By each team having a competent Supervisor to engage with, we have found that communication and attention to detail have improved, both internally and externally.
Everyone has an expectation of what should be delivered by their cleaning company. A better level of service can only be delivered if the team are engaged, trained and committed.
Awards and Recognition
It’s great that we get feedback from our customers. When you are able to consistently deliver a better than expected service, the efforts can also be recognised by external organisations too.
This year we have received the Facilities Management Award; Commercial Cleaners of the Year 2017 – Northern England & Excellence Award for Business Centre Cleaning. The Facilities Management Awards 2017 are prestigious awards run by Build Magazine.
Heather Ryan, Awards Coordinator stated: “Our awards are dedicated to recognising those hidden heroes within the Facilities Management role for their excellence and dedication to their profession. It has been a real pleasure to showcase the hard work and dedication and I would like to wish each and every one of our winners the very best of luck for the future.”
As a local company we have also been recognised by our efforts by the Derbyshire Times. We have received awards and commendations in three categories;
- Highly Commended for the People Development Award
- Hayley Koseoglu our MD was Highly Commended for Business Person of the Year
- Winner of the Customer Service Award
These accolades are a privilege to receive and prove that continued investment in training, staff and infrastructure continue to be recognised.
We have a lot of exciting plans for 2018 including our 10th anniversary celebrations!
