The past month has seen Crystal Clean Service go from strength to strength as they have secured seven new cleaning contracts! The company are pleased to announce that they are now working with local companies, 512 Sheffield, Cobra Sport, Enzygo, Investment Room, SMART Platforms, Deamon Wheelers and Venue Options. To support the expansion the company has even promoted one of its cleaning staff to area supervisor.
Lorraine Brown has worked with the company over 2 years and is thrilled with her new promotion to Supervisor for the Chesterfield area. ‘I am extremely thankful for the opportunity, it is great that the company recognises the potential of their employees, it really makes people feel valued’. Lorraine will also be enrolling on a Level 2 Diploma in Team Leadership with The Source, Sheffield to further develop her skills and expertise. It is hoped that as business growth continues, Crystal Clean Service will be able to promote more of its cleaning staff in the future.
Managing Director Hayley Koseoglu said of the expansion ‘despite uncertainty in the economy, Crystal Clean Service has been able to prosper by maintaining business confidence and continuing to invest in training, innovation and development. Rather than trying to cut corners we have focused our efforts on educating our workforce, capitalizing on modern technologies and experimenting with new marketing methods’.
To foster further expansion the company is also focusing on growing its computer and keyboard cleaning services. The demand for workstation sanitization has increased in recent years as companies introduce more computer based roles and hot-desking environments. Look out for Crystal Cleans new ‘How Dirty is your Qwerty?’ marketing campaign which aims to promote the benefits of regularly cleaning computers, such as reduced absenteeism and improved employee morale.
The example set by Crystal Clean couldn’t be clearer: in a troublesome climate don’t stand still, keep the faith, take advantage of new opportunities and don’t fall into the trap of short termism by pushing forward and focusing on long term business goals.
